The Korean Embassy are calling those who are interested to join  a video contest " I love Korea because...." It is a 3-min video explaining why you love Korea, be it modern or cultural, k-pop influences or any of your personal experiences. 

The grand prize would be a Korean brand car, ticket to Korea and will be invited to a K-pop live show (not sure which show).

Venue: Lecture Theatre, IBM Centre

 KCC Sports Day feat. 런닝맨 (Running Man) will be our next activity on 7th March 2012!

Bus will be provided. Also, you guys can just go there right away by your own car or by bus.

Meeting point for Bus will be at IBM Centre.

Time:

1.45-2.00: Members gather at IBM Centre (Bus) + Sign in.
2.00-2.30: Arrival + Grouping by colors.
2.30-3.45: GAME mission.
3.45-4.10: Break/ Refreshment.
4.15-5.00: RACE mission.

** Important notes:
1. Please wear your sport attire on this day.
2. Bring a bottle of water and extra shirts.

A Professor Visiting Language Centre.

안녕하세요 여러분!~~~~ ^^

Last Tuesday, 7th February 2012, there was a visit from a Professor of Cheongnam University. The professor was on our campus to sign the memorandum of understanding (MOU) between UBD and Cheongnam University for the Discovery Year. The professor also came with his wife and the South East Asia's Liaison Officer. Since he was in our university, he wanted to pay a visit to our new Language Centre.

UBD Korean Culture Club welcomed the professor and his wife with 'bunga telor'.

 Since the professor's wife is a very interested with music, the Gulingtangan Club was also invited to welcome them.

 The professor also pay a visit to Dr.Kim's elementary Korean class and he gave a little talk about the university. Then the professor and his wife sang a very beautiful Korean song in front of the class!! 

 Sadly, the visit had to end as the professor had another appointment. So, they had a light refreshment at the Language Centre Lounge and there the professor's wife sang another song!!! This time it was 'Getaran Jiwa'. It was beautiful and touching!!

Of course! KCC always have vaining time at any event!! While waiting for the guest to come, we took some pictures!! ^^
