 KCC Sports Day feat. 런닝맨 (Running Man) will be our next activity on 7th March 2012!

Bus will be provided. Also, you guys can just go there right away by your own car or by bus.

Meeting point for Bus will be at IBM Centre.

Time:

1.45-2.00: Members gather at IBM Centre (Bus) + Sign in.
2.00-2.30: Arrival + Grouping by colors.
2.30-3.45: GAME mission.
3.45-4.10: Break/ Refreshment.
4.15-5.00: RACE mission.

** Important notes:
1. Please wear your sport attire on this day.
2. Bring a bottle of water and extra shirts.

The more, the merrier~ :D

UBD open day~

P.s: For those who want to join the club, you can register directly at our booth starting tomorrow (16th Feb) until 18th February 2012 and that is the last day registration for members :D

A Professor Visiting Language Centre.

안녕하세요 여러분!~~~~ ^^

Last Tuesday, 7th February 2012, there was a visit from a Professor of Cheongnam University. The professor was on our campus to sign the memorandum of understanding (MOU) between UBD and Cheongnam University for the Discovery Year. The professor also came with his wife and the South East Asia's Liaison Officer. Since he was in our university, he wanted to pay a visit to our new Language Centre.

UBD Korean Culture Club welcomed the professor and his wife with 'bunga telor'.

 Since the professor's wife is a very interested with music, the Gulingtangan Club was also invited to welcome them.

 The professor also pay a visit to Dr.Kim's elementary Korean class and he gave a little talk about the university. Then the professor and his wife sang a very beautiful Korean song in front of the class!! 

 Sadly, the visit had to end as the professor had another appointment. So, they had a light refreshment at the Language Centre Lounge and there the professor's wife sang another song!!! This time it was 'Getaran Jiwa'. It was beautiful and touching!!

Of course! KCC always have vaining time at any event!! While waiting for the guest to come, we took some pictures!! ^^

KOREAN FOOD COOKING COMPETITION

as you all know...the city of Seoul is famous for a lot of things; one of the most important being its delicious cuisine! so for our next activity, we will be organising KCC KOREAN FOOD COMPETITION on the 22nd of February 2012 in which you are to make any delicious delicacies of Seoul; whether it’s bibimbap, kimbap, bulgogi, or kimchi etc.

Those members who are interested please contact us through these numbers... Dyra at 8787738 or Rhona at 8952691 as soon as possible....jusaeyo ^^  latest is by 15th February 2012.

NOTE:
1. you are to form a group of 4-5 members (with your own group name) & register your group's members names at Dyra (8787738) or Rhona (8952691)
2. only 5 groups will be competed on the 22nd of February.
3. KCC will only provide the cooking stove only. so participants are going to have to bring their own cooking utensils & ingredients.
4. only korean food should be cooked for the competition
5. any changes will be informed

KOREAN DANCE ACTIVITY

please be informed that next week we will be having KOREAN DANCE ACTIVITY as our activity.

Nothing like a dance to relax from all the assignments? So please do come and dance with us at LC building, 2nd floor, room 8, on the 8th of February 2012 from 2.30 PM.
